On December 19, Target® announced that credit and debit card numbers were stolen during a security breach. Target® customers that purchased items between November 27 – December 15 at any of their retails stores were potentially affected by this breach.
Pinnacle FCU has been closely monitoring all of our debit cardholders who used their card during the timeframe stated above. Protecting you and your account information is a top priority that we take very seriously.
Keep in mind that you are protected by our agreement with VISA; you are not liable for any fraudulent activity that may occur on your account if you promptly notify us.
What to do if you used your card between November 27 – December 17 at Target?
As stated above, our risk management department is monitoring all cards for any fraudulent activities. You should check your account history online by using our online banking. If you are not registered, please take advantage of this free service. You will be able to review your account history for up to 12 months.
What to do if you have a fraudulent purchase on your account?
